Before you begin installation
of your cooler/freezer, please locate the following:
Assembly drawings – floor (if provided), wall and ceiling
5/16” Allen wrench
NSF aluminum silicone sealant (caulk gun not provided)
Study the drawings carefully. Always start with the floor assembly (if
ordered), followed by the walls and then the ceiling.
Floor Assembly
Lay out the area where the floor is to be located. Chalk lines are helpful
with this. Always measure from corner to corner and then check the opposite
corners. This will insure that your lay out is square. Your floor panels
will be marked with F-1, F-2 and so on.
Locate your floor assembly drawing and put panel F-1 in the correct
location. Next, install panel F-2 beside F-1. Panel F-1 will have pins
along the side where F-2 will be set. Be sure that on Panel F-2, that
you locate the hook side of the panel next to F-1. Check and make sure
the ends of the panels are aliened properly. Starting with the center
hook, use the 5/16” Allen wrench and insert it the hole and turn in
clockwise until it stops. Do not over force. Continue with the rest
of the hooks on the panel. Make sure the both panels are locked together
properly. Continue the same way with the rest of the panels.
If the unit that was ordered did not have a floor, then you will be
supplied with Screeds.
Screed Installation:
Follow the same instruction as the with the floor assembly except you
will need the add ½” to each side to allow for the screed. Lay down
a heavy bead of silicone sealant under the screed. Screed should be
fastened to the floor if possible. When you unit is completely assembled,
use silicone sealant to seal the screed where it comes in contact with
the metal skin.
